Atlanta native Elgin Wells is a career musician and airshow pilot who lives in Peachtree Corners, GA (a suburb of Atlanta). A champion orator* and vocalist** in his school years, he graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Human Learning and Education. Elgin then toured the U.S. and Australia with a variety of rock and show bands, performing over 15,000 shows and sets, including a 12-year stint at Ray's on the River, in Atlanta. He has performed with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and the Daly-Wilson Big Band (Australia) and with his own ensemble at jazz festivals, night clubs and benefit concerts for Easter Seals, United Way, American Cancer Society and the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. He plays over 20 instruments, is an award-winning songwriter with over 300 titles, and he designs and builds violins and electric guitars. Elgin, who is a champion aerobatic pilot***, designed and built Starjammer, a one-of-a-kind acrobatic airplane outfitted with 250+ LEDs and a 4,000 watt sound system. He has performed for an estimated 50 million airshow fans since 1993.
Elgin's most recent projects include CAS Innovations, a custom musical instrument development company, and completion of his 13th album of original music (debut was April 11 at Eddie Owen Presents' Red Clay Theater, in Duluth, GA). Services currently offered are:
